2025 Dr. Edge Tasmania 'Gamay' (750ml)

Dr Edge Gamay is a 100% whole cluster fermented  Derwent Valley Gamay.  Left on skins and rachis for 15 days and pressed to steel tanks to finish ferment, it eventually made its way to seasoned oak for a 9 month elevage. This wine is heavier than my Pinot Meunier but lighter than a Pinot Noir. Bottled without filtration or fining - its made exactly the same way as the much lauded 2018 Dr Edge - 'Willamette Valley' Gamay, but from back home here in good old Tasmania.
